Thinking of entering the Junior Pairs or doing your first 3 or 6 Hour endurance event at Blores Hill on the 23rd July?

Not sure what to expect? We will be running an introduction session for first timers geared towards junior/novice riders in preparation for the upcoming Blores Hill 3/6 hour Endurance race.

Saturday 2nd July – Blores Hill – Main Trailhead

Course Times:
- Registration: 1:00pm
- Start: 1:30pm
- Finish: 3:30pm

What To Bring:
- Current MTBA licence or purchase day licence (these can be purchased on the day for $7)
– Reminder MTBA is offering 8 week FREE trial membership http://www.mtba.asn.au/join/
- Mountain bike in good working order.
– Gears, brakes and tyres ready for inspection.
– If in doubt have your bike serviced to avoid disappointment bike failure on the day.
- Australian Certified helmet
- Appropriate shoes and clothing
- Gloves and eye protection recommended
- Sufficient water for 2hrs on the bike
- Basic spares inc tube for your wheel size, tyre levers, pump and toolkit
- Ride snacks!

Purpose:
To promote mountain biking as a safe and fun activity for entry and intermediate level riders.

The session will focus on event day fundamentals, exploring the trails used in the event, discussing race preparation, race strategy and what happens after the event.
